Flax Seed Crackers

Yum, excellent, crispy, and so easy! Must try recipe for all vegans!

Preparation Time: 
30 mins (plus chill time)
Servings: 
makes 24 (or more) crackers
Ingredients: 

1/2 cup flax seeds
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp vegan 'butter'/margarine
1 tbsp dried oregano OR onion powder OR dried dill
1/2 cup soy milk

Preparation: 

Preheat oven to 325 F, in a food processor (or using your hands) mix flax seeds, flour, baking soda, salt, margarine and optional spices until well mixed. place in a medium bowl and slowly add milk. mix and knead together until dough forms a ball, chill for 10-20 mins. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. in between 2 sheets of wax paper, roll out the dough verrrryyy thin, when you have the right "thinness" you want, cut into crackers (what ever shapes/how every big or little you want!). repeat with rest of dough. transfer crackers to wax paper/cookie sheet and bake for 15 mins then flip over and bake for 5 more, or until crispy. should yeild 24 crackers (mine made way more) mmmm enjoy!
